On a Tuesday in October Buckingham Palace was still packed!  Look below for proof.  Katherine has gotten extremely good at weaving her way through large crowds and found a spot near the fence.  I found a tall rock across the street and proceeded to climb it.  It took a long time, however, before anything happened because the second group of guards from who-knows-where were kind of slow.  Maybe they weren’t watching their watch very closely.

The band played a concert consisting of a West Side Story medley (which the ISUCF’V’MB has already done) and songs from The Incredibles (which the ISUCF’V’MB has already done).  The soldiers just stood there and waited to guard something.  Too bad for them.

You’ll see the royal flag below in a picture because THE QUEEN WAS IN THAT DAY!  We were mere hundreds of meters from the Queen of England, with only a few dozen guards, their bayonets, and their ridiculous-looking hats between us.  Katherine seems to remember meeting the Queen, but that was actually at the Wax Museum later.  Keep reading.

After seeing the guards change (and thinking we met the Queen) we moved on toward Big Ben and Westminster Abbey.
